- Finishing Color
“The finishing colors used on furniture made from teak wood are divided into two types: natural finish and duco finish.”
- “Natural finish is highly recommended for furniture made from teak wood because it still showcases the natural grain of the teak. Teak wood is well known not only for its strength and durability, but also for the beautiful grain patterns on its surface, which create a more natural and elegant appearance. The colors used in our production process are divided into three types: Natural, Walnut, and Brown.”
- “Duco finish is a type of wood finishing that covers both the original color and the wood grain, resulting in a completely new color. This type of finishing is not highly recommended for furniture made from teak wood, as it conceals the natural grain on the wood surface, which is one of the distinctive beauty characteristics of teak. The colors used in duco finishing vary widely and can be customized according to user preferences.”
Color Finishing Options
- Finishing Type
“The types of finishing used on furniture made from teak wood are divided into two categories: doff (matte) and gloss.
- Matte finishing has an appearance that is the opposite of gloss. This finish does not reflect light, making the furniture look muted. However, muted does not mean non-transparent; rather, it creates a surface appearance as if the wood has not been coated.
- Gloss finishing has a shiny appearance that reflects light on the furniture surface. The sheen level can only be accurately measured using a gloss meter, not by the naked eye. Typically, a gloss level of 85% to 90% is considered gloss, while values above this range are classified as high gloss.”
Finishing Type Options: Matte (Left) and Glossy (Right)
- Fabric Selection
“Fabric is used for furniture that utilizes foam for seating or backrests, such as sofas, chairs, beds, and others. The types of fabric used in our production include plain fabric and patterned fabric. Fabric options will be presented in the gallery below.”
